VM, managed application, serverless và AKS
Chọn compute theo control cần thiết, operating burden, scaling shape và workload constraints—not theo độ phổ biến.
Compute spectrum
VM/VMSS cho OS control cao nhưng cần patch/image/capacity operations. App Service và Container Apps giảm platform work cho web/container workloads. Functions phù hợp event-driven, bursty work nhưng phải hiểu trigger retry, timeout, concurrency và idempotency.
AKS
AKS quản control plane nhưng khách hàng vẫn sở hữu node pools, Kubernetes configuration, workload security, upgrades và capacity. Tách system/user pools, dùng workload identity, network policy, disruption budget và controlled upgrade windows.
Scaling
Autoscale phản ứng sau signal; không thay quota/capacity planning. Scale metric cần tương quan demand, có cooldown và upper bound bảo vệ downstream. Cold start, image pull, node provisioning và zonal capacity ảnh hưởng recovery time.
Deployment
Immutable artifacts, health probes đúng semantics, gradual rollout và rollback được diễn tập. Managed platform không tự đảm bảo graceful shutdown, connection draining hay backward-compatible schema.
