Reliability, quota và scaling
Reliability là khả năng chịu và phục hồi failure trong một capacity envelope đã biết, không chỉ là triển khai nhiều AZ.
Design loop
- Đặt SLO và error budget; phân loại dependency critical/optional, sync/async và failure mode.
- Tính quota theo peak × growth × failover headroom. Theo dõi adjustable và hard quota ở mọi Region/account; request increase trước event.
- Timeout phải ngắn hơn caller budget; retry có backoff, jitter, max attempts và chỉ dành cho lỗi transient/idempotent. Circuit breaker và bulkhead bảo vệ dependency.
- Autoscaling có detection/provisioning/warmup lag; cần buffer, pre-scale hoặc queue khi demand tăng nhanh.
Static stability
Workload phải duy trì function cốt lõi khi control plane/API management suy giảm: pre-provision capacity, tránh dependency deploy trong recovery, lưu artifact/runbook và test credential. Multi-AZ failover cần đủ capacity ở AZ còn lại và loại bỏ zonal hidden dependency.
