# M10-L01 — Lab contract

**Build:** Spring Boot /health/chain reads chainId and blockNumber.

**Pass:** HTTP response includes expected chainId and height.

**Failure injection:** RPC timeout after broadcast leaves outcome unknown.

**Review question:** Why not blindly retry signed transaction with new nonce?

Status: specification; only count as executable when source and tests are present and verified.
